What refurbishment involves
Many older farm and industrial buildings have plenty of life left in the frame, even when the roof and cladding are past saving. We strip the old sheets, inspect and repair the steelwork, then re-sheet and re-clad with modern fibre cement, plastisol or composite panels.
Typical work includes replacing corroded stanchion feet, adding new purlins and side rails, fitting rooflights for natural daylight, new gutters and downpipes, and upgrading doors and shutters at the same time.
We can phase the work around stock, harvest or production so the building stays usable while we are on site.
