Who we are

This website is run by JSL Construction, a family run steel fabrication and steel framed building business at Red House Farm, Ripon, North Yorkshire HG4 5AY. You can contact us on 01765 603777 or by email at jslconstruction@outlook.com.

What personal data we collect

This website does not collect or store personal information directly. There is no enquiry form — when you click an email link your own email programme opens and you choose what to send us, and when you ring us we only hold the details you give us over the phone.

How we use your data

If you email or call us, we use the information you provide only to answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and manage any work you ask us to carry out. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for marketing unless you specifically agree to it.

Cookies

When you first visit the site we ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary cookies is set until you choose to allow it. We group cookies into four categories:

• Strictly necessary — a first-party cookie named jsl_cookie_consent that stores your choice for 12 months, plus anything needed to keep the site secure and working. These cannot be switched off.

Links to maps or other websites are provided for convenience. Once you follow a link you are subject to that website's own privacy and cookie policies, which we do not control.

How long we keep information

Enquiry emails and quotation records are kept only as long as we need them for the job in hand and for our normal business and tax records, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email jslconstruction@outlook.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not happy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
